Yards and yards of your metabolising epidermis are nipped and hemmed.

Before the curtain calls, the velvet rises. The velvet rises, lo and behold, and by some stroke of luck, or fate, or at least meagre coincidence, this occurs at the precise time you’re having a face-lift.

Reams of skin pleated and snipped into a prettier garment, re draped over the meaty and calcified nuances of your face. You are rearranged into idyllic heights of aesthetic passibility, if not beauty exactly. The audience remains silent and reproachful. Perhaps they would have preferred a gaudy pantomime, but this is not what is being preformed tonight.

Under the heat of the medicinal lights the surgeons deft touch moves nothing in you, leaves you flat and thick like a square of felt, and you bristle at his familiarity.
